Welcome to our first art exhibition which will feature work from all of our schools across the Trust.

TLP is a Trust that believes education has the power to transform communities. For us, this means adding a premium to the offer that all of our pupils experience, by providing enrichment opportunities like this one, where pupils can collaborate with other schools and experience being part of a Trust-wide community.

We also wanted to put together a showcase of artwork that our local communities can experience outside of the schools’ buildings. This art exhibition is designed to celebrate the work of pupils of all ages and to give them the opportunity to experience success in a different way. We hope that all pupils who have created artwork for this event, not just the ones displayed in the exhibition, have a sense of pride and satisfaction that they have participated and challenged themselves.

We hope you enjoy taking part in our art exhibition and join us in celebrating and congratulating our wonderful young artists.

Dan Thomas, CEO of The Learning Partnership

Theme: Celebrating our Community Through Art

We're inviting you to produce artwork which celebrates our community. Each school is obviously free to interpret this as they wish, using all the skills, resources, materials and inspiration at your disposal!

We can't wait to see how our young artists see, feel, and express what our community means for them.

The Judging Process

We're delighted to have the support of three local artists, who have kindly volunteered their time to judge the students' artwork in the exhibition. They will meet on Wednesday 2nd July to assess all pieces of work, against the criteria set by TLP (details still being finalised - confirmation will be shared very soon!).

Awards

There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize awarded to every year group; 39 awards in total. The work reviewed will include any 3D art and sculpture. Once the judges have made their decisions, schools will be notified the following day (3rd July) if they have a winner, in the hope that they can join the exhibition visit to receive their prize.

All exhibitors will be presented with a certificate.
