The Learning Partnership’s school improvement framework outlines the support and challenge we offer to our schools to ensure that they are transforming communities through education. We endeavour to operate an efficient and effective Trust school improvement model. One which provides clarity through a framework firmly underpinned by contextual understanding of our schools, high expectations and the principles of improvement. TLP’s school improvement framework ensures our schools maintain their individuality whilst playing a wider role within the community.
Core to our School Improvement offer are the following:

Education and School Improvement
The Learning Institute delivers high quality professional development opportunities to educators and leaders at every phase of their professional journey within The Learning Partnership Trust. Our aim is to consistently enhance the quality of education provided to our students at all Key Stages. Additionally, we also provide a range of courses which we make available to external participants.
The aims of The Learning Institute are:
- To support our people across the Trust through designing and delivering ITT and ECT programmes in partnership with accredited providers; providing opportunities for staff to access career development through completion of specialist and leadership NPQs; development of bespoke professional development programmes, matched to the needs of the organisation, such as our ‘Leading People’ course, aimed at those new to management positions.
- To support development of Curriculum and Quality First Teaching with a focus on supporting colleagues with the Curriculum changes, Transition Projects and Teaching Strategies. Also, in the creation of high quality CPD materials that leaders can use in their schools, to support existing professional development programmes.
- To facilitate collaboration across The Learning Partnership to better support colleagues through providing regular networking opportunities; facilitate collaboration to help reduce workload; to ensure the best practice, in our schools, is shared.
